Position Overview

            Delivering a design package to the data hall build team including: 
implementation script for data hall fit-out 
port mapping 
physical inventory of network equipment 
prepare and deliver appropriate CAD designs 
Work-product customers: 70% IT / 30% construction team 
SKILLS Review CAD drawing provided by the building/colocation facility owner 
Review BIM model: detailed 3D digital twin, integrating structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems 
Interpret a network design and translate that into physical inventory list of network equipment and infrastructure 
Interpret building CAD/floor plan and overlay rack layout 
Analyze cable/conduit fill-ratio, evaluate secure duct and conduit availability for capacity and conflicts
