The role supports AWS Data Center Operations (DCO) to maintain and troubleshoot data center infrastructure, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related systems.
Key job responsibilities - Perform DCO procedures such as break‑and‑fix repairs, host‑level decommissions (HLD), server rack decommissions (SRD), media removal, media destruction, and first responder duties.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues using SOPs and documentation, escalating when necessary.
- Operate across one or more DCO process paths, applying knowledge to determine appropriate tasks or procedures.
- Communicate clearly via tickets, SIMs, task tracking entries, and write‑ups.
