Data Center Technician perform 24x7 shifts for Data Centers and handle incidents to ensure safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities - Operate and support Data Center facilities on a 24x7 shift basis, ensuring safety and uptime.
- Perform racking, de-racking, and physical installation of servers, network devices, power, KVM, and cabling.
- Handle copper and fiber cabling in compliance with TIA-942 standards.
- Monitor and record environmental and facility systems including power, HVAC, fire detection/suppression, temperature, and humidity.
- Perform break/fix support for Windows and Linux servers in coordination with system owners and hardware vendors.
