Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Data Engineer - Scala, Java/Python, Hive, PySpark for their Charlotte, NC/Hybrid location. Requirements:

+ Strong software engineering background with experience developing enterprise-scale applications

+ Expertise in object-oriented and/or functional programming (e.g., Java, Python, Scala)

+ Experience designing and consuming APIs and system integrations

+ Broad experience in technology delivery within complex financial systems

+ Knowledge of capital markets, Banking, Compliance, and Trade Lifecycle concepts

+ Familiarity with international regulations such as MAD/MAR and regulatory-driven systems

+ Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

+ Experience working within secure, controlled enterprise environments

+ Nice to Have:

+ Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-hosted third party solutions
