JOB PURPOSE

The Data Management Specialist oversees the integrity, lifecycle, governance, and effective use of SNOC’s upstream technical and geospatial data. The role manages physical sample inventories and digital E&P datasets across multiple software platforms, maintaining quality-controlled spatial frameworks, comprehensive metadata, and version control to support cross-functional technical teams, improve data accessibility, and advance upstream digital workflows.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the corporate E&P data classification system, taxonomy, and master catalogue for physical and digital upstream datasets.
• Govern the full technical data lifecycle, including receipt, indexing, QC, archiving, and secure sharing of geological, geophysical, seismic, well, reservoir, production, and physical sample datasets.
