Role Purpose

Finance Business and Technology (FBT) is bp’s shared services organisation driving business solutions through standardising and simplification while maintaining a strong and effective control environment. The Data Operations team within FBT is accountable for the stewardship of a significant proportion of bp’s commercial and financial master data across the Finance, Procurement, and Customer functions. The Data Operations Analyst is accountable for implementing master data operations across Business Units ensuring compliance with governance standards, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and internal controls. The role proactively manages data quality, operational risk, and collaborator expectations to support operational excellence and compliance.
