Role: Data Scientist – Banking & Capital Calculations

Location: Downtown Toronto, Canada

Requirements / Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years’ Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Analyst, with at least 5+ within Banking or Capital Calculations
• 5+ years’ proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and performance optimization
• 2+ years hands‑on experience with Python (basic coding knowledge)
• Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets
• Solid grounding in statistics, data analysis, and predictive modelling

Nice‑To‑Have Skills:

• Robust understanding of financial products, markets, and industry data
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and reportingFamiliarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
