In this capacity, the responsibilities will include creating, supporting and maintaining MongoDB , PostgreSQL and other databases managed by the Database Services team.

Responsibilities

• Build/Configure Mongo RS and shard
• Build/Configure PostgreSQL database cluster and replication
• Fine-tune configurations MongoDB and servers for performance improvement.
• Configure Barman server for new database cluster
• Install PostGIS/ pgAudit and other required extension
• Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
• Estimate database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
