Department Overview

The Database Services team, part of the Application and Infrastructure Support division, ensures HedgeServ’s data ecosystem is robust, secure, and optimized. The team is organized into three core areas: DB Architecture, DB Engineering, and DB Operations.

Team Structure

• DB Architecture – design, modeling, technology evaluation, capacity planning, governance.
• DB Engineering – installation, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, automation.
• DB Operations – incident management, monitoring, change management, user support, patching.
