Job Description
• Own Databricks workspace provisioning & setup
o Define how workspaces are created, configured, and standardized across environments
• Perform platform configuration and environment management
o Cluster policies, compute setup, networking integrations
• Lead data source onboarding & discovery
o Evaluate new sources and define ingestion patterns
• Configure and integrate Databricks with Azure services:
o ADLS, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Implement and maintain security, RBAC, and governance policies
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform + CI/CD pipelines
• Leverage AI coding tools / copilots to accelerate scripting, automation, and platform workflows
• Monitor platform performance and optimize for cost, scale, and reliability
• Support data engineering teams by enabling pipelines (platform enablement vs heavy coding)
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable platform solutions
