Purpose & Position presentation:

The Daycare (Child-Care) Worker supports the daily care, safety, learning, and well-being of children in the MMFN Daycare Centre. The position assists with developmentally appropriate programming, culturally sensitive activities, healthy routines, and a clean, safe, and supportive daycare environment.

Core responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate daycare programs and activities, ensuring that programming is culturally sensitive and supportive of children's development.

• Support children throughout the day by guiding, demonstrating, encouraging, and supervising activities in a safe and respectful manner.

• Help prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children, in accordance with daycare routines and supervisor direction.
