Overview


The Day Treatment Counselor will work as a part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health support to students within a school setting. The Day Treatment Counselor develops and implements a treatment plan that enhances the student’s social, emotional and behavioral functioning in school, home and community and reflects the perspectives of the student, family and other involved supports. Day Treatment counselors conduct individual and group therapy, provide family support and case management, and offer classroom support as needed.
