This full‑time, on‑site position is available at Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. for a key role in supporting the Communication‑Based Train Control (CBTC) system.

Job Description

The general mission is to address all design aspects of a mission‑critical IT solution within a larger communication system that supports the operation of the CBTC system. The incumbent is responsible for defining IT architecture, features, and solutions, developing system and subsystem requirements, creating detailed IT designs, and implementing the solution. The design work must be performed correctly, within cost and schedule limits, and in collaboration with other IT and network engineers, managers, and architects.
