Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for keeping all the necessary pipe components staged and organized above the trench before installationMaintain a clean, organized work areaResponsible for the maintenance and organization of the crews tools and rigging hardwareOperate mechanized equipment such as quick cut saw, diesel plate packer, jumping jack compactor, impact drills and a variety of other hand toolsStrong understanding of hoisting and rigging requirements for pipe and shoring boxesAbility to maintain inventory of pipe components required to complete the jobResponsible for cutting and beveling pipe before installationStrong understanding of industry torque specifications for watermain installationSignals equipment operators to ensure a safe and proper excavation around overhead utilities Requirements:
