**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Deep Well Operator works under minimal supervision, receives broad work instructions, and applies decision making skill to resolve moderately complex issues. The incumbent provides advice and guidance to less experienced team members and may oversee the work of other operators or laborers. The Deep Well Operator ensures that pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment and other wastewater treatment are operational at all times.

**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Maintains work area and other areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
+ Operates general housekeeping equipment, including but not limited to mower, weed eater and pressure washer.
+ Performs all responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations that govern job performance; ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable federal and state requirements.
