ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, Concrete the objective of this position is to work within the Quality Assurance/Quality Control department to optimize mix design and raw material costs, to implement and manage quality procedures and policies, manage product development and to provide assistance to customers and sales representatives. This position also meets the divisional quality goals and objectives, resulting in the reduction of quality incidents, associated costs and enhanced customer service and leads a team of QA/QC technicians in the field.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Administer, develop, implement, and standardize quality plans and processes for the Greater Edmonton / Northern Alberta Area. This shall be achieved by working closely with the General Managers, conducting quality audits and adhering to the WCan Quality Control Manual.
• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team for region.
