Overview

NHSE is recruiting an enthusiastic individual to develop, facilitate, quality‑assure and support the training and upskilling of Dental Care Professionals (DCPs), particularly Dental Hygienists and Therapists, across Yorkshire and the Humber. The role is part‑time, 7 hours per week, and may include some Saturdays for pre‑booked courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Co‑ordinate, plan, commission, promote and quality‑manage needs‑led education for the DCP workforce, in line with the annual plan and COPDEND and NHSE quality frameworks.
• Evaluate training outcomes and report on quality metrics.
• Engage with dental care professionals across Yorkshire and the Humber, motivating them to participate in learning and upskilling.
• Work closely with the Lead DCP Tutor and other DCP Tutors to deliver education and with the Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean and Dentist Tutors to plan and deliver needs‑led education for the wider den...
