Overview
The University of Cape Town (UCT) is seeking to appoint a highly competent and dynamic individual to the permanent position of Deputy Director: Consolidated Management Reporting & Budgeting.
Reporting to the Director: Management Accounting, the Deputy Director will be responsible for agile management reporting at both an operational and consolidated institutional level, and for providing support in relation to the annual budget process.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all aspects of management reporting, including generation of reports for Council‑Controlled and Non‑Continuing operating activities.
Ensure timely delivery of management reporting to all key stakeholders.
Consolidate and analyse annual budget submissions for operating activities and provide support throughout the annual budget process.
Maintain appropriate people performance and business processes, policies, and tools to support decision‑making.
