The Deputy General Counsel provides the Department of Employment and Economic Development with leadership and legal expertise to support the Department’s compliance with state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis, and provide legal advice on complex and novel legal topics, including complex agreements, commercial lending transactions, finance deal structuring, securitization, UCC filings, and loan enforcement actions.
