Position Overview

Job Description

  • Designs for Packaging machinery using and applying engineering principles & Customer spec. 
  • Confer with team & technical sales personnel, to clarify specifications & develop designs.
  • Review drawings and bills of material within engineering team members to ensure QC.
  • Selects design options which assure proper performance, reliability, safety and manufacturability.
  • Complete mechanical engineering designs by calculating operational parameters such as speeds, gear ratios, drives, torques, velocities
  • Respond to questions from purchasing/manufacturing personnel for clarification of design.
  • Support field service for machine troubleshooting as needed.
  • Preparation and attending internal / external audits for dept.
  • Participation in functional and cross functional Continuous improvement initiatives
