Role- Design Engineer

Salary- £60,000 per annum

Type- Permanent

Location- Chelmsford 

My client is a specialist manufacturer of Refrigeration equipment. They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team near Chelmsford on a permanent basis.

The Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

1 year or more of experience in a similar Design / Development Engineering position
Have a background in Refrigeration with knowledge of Refrigeration systems and principles
F-Gas qualified
background on thermodynamics and heat transfer in the development of refrigeration products or devices.
Proficiency with CAD software and more – ideally Inventor or SolidWorks, Refprop, Flownex
Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Proven ability to drive Engineering development
Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
The ability to understand system requirements
