Design Structural Engineering Technologist

Required for a group of Consulting Engineers in Pietermaritzburg.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4 years’ experience within consulting Engineering environment.
• Technical ability to understand Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Prokon.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out Engineering Drawing Design (concrete and Steel) in AutoCAD and Prokon.
• Prepare reinforcement drawings using AutoCAD Structural Detailing Software according to SANS codes.
• Compile Bill of Quantities.
• Undertake site inspections and manage site queries.
• Manage the filing of drawings for accuracy and correctness.
• Ensure drawings are issued on time.
• Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines.

Salary:

Negotiable – experience related.
