Job Summary

The Designated Institutional Official (DIO) is a leadership role, supported by a .60 FTE administrative allocation that is responsible for providing oversight, direction and accountability for all aspects of Medial Education and the broader academic mission of Mohawk Valley Health System. This position ensures excellence in physician’s clinical training, while maintaining full compliance with applicable accrediting body requirements and advancing the organization’s academic and educational goals.


Core Job Responsibilities


+ Oversees the Medical Education Department leaders, with direct management responsibility for the Program Directors, the Regional Medical Student Dean, the Lead Physician, Inpatient Teaching Service, the Director of Medical Education, and other assigned positions.
