            Job Title: Designer

Job Duration: 6 Months

Job Location: New York, NY

Job Description:

Cut and Sew Knits Designer - reporting into Jean Devine for Sleep and Lounge (prefer womenswear experience, sweaters experience also a plus)

Cut and Sew/Sweaters Designer - reporting into Fran Rosamilia for Speed (replacing Gina who has moved to kids/Colabs)

Responsible for creating original concepts that encompass style, color and fabric as a result of interpreting fashion trends.

Produces sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs.

Analyzes fashion trends. Partners with sourcing and materials development.

May provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions.
