Responsibilities

• Oversee investigations involving intimate partner or domestic violence, sexual offences in the context of intimate partner violence, criminal harassment, and elder abuse.
• Utilise the MCM model, trauma‑informed practices, surveillance, victim, witness and suspect interviews, and develop judicial authorisations to conduct search and seizure operations.
• Plan and deploy conventional and advanced investigative strategies, including covert techniques and operational plans.
• Liaise with other police units, community‑based victim services agencies and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated responses.
