Position Overview

Job Description

  • Engineering responsibility for power tool components from concept development up to maturity phase, including support at start of mass production
  • Conception and design engineering with Pro-E of components and assembly, where necessary supported by design engineer
  • Define dimensioning concept, do tolerance calculation and if necessary limit sample testing
  • Prescribe and harmonize measures and proposal to ensure the engineering target will be achieved
  • Judge and evaluate development steps, set priorities considering schedule, quality and cost targets
  • Contribution to the quality target definition
  • Support of purchasing in supplier selection
  • Cooperation in cross functional project teams
  • Prepare and procure components for functional models and A / B-sample for testing
  • Serial support of medium complex power tools
