POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Provides direct diabetes medical nutrition therapy education, assessment and followup and assists in developing diabetes education activities. Participates in staff and professional development activities and acts as a liaison with all diabetes medical nutrition therapy interactions with the program. Engages in all quality assurance activities; collects, compiles and summarizes data for the Diabetes Education Program. Assists in the assessment, development and evaluation of the program and its goals. Complies with UH departmental policies and procedures and maintains good guest and working relationships.
