Essential Responsibilities:

+ Provide technical assistance, assessments, inspection, troubleshooting, corrective actions, adjustments/repairs, and grooms on Naval Surface ships' diesel engines
+ Observe and/or conduct cold and hot checks of equipment, note condition and parameters for any out-of-specification readings or settings
+ Observe the operation of the equipment by the ship's force to witness the full range of performance
+ Use appropriate measuring/test equipment to obtain data for evaluation
+ Provide written visit debrief and reports
+ Attend conferences and meetings as required
+ Provide on-the-job training to the ship's force during shipboard evolutions
