The Diesel Technician I role is an entry-level position focusing on basic maintenance and inspections of Class 8 trucks and equipment. This role offers hands-on in supporting shop operations, ensuring fleet readiness, and reducing equipment downtime.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Perform routine preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire services, and brake inspections.Perform . Inspections to ensure DOT requirements are metAssist senior technicians with more complex repairs and diagnostics.Follow standard safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Accurately document all maintenance activities in compliance with company policies.Other Duties as Assigned Requirements
