Position Overview

            Minimum Requirements: 
Grade 12 and N2 Mechanical Engineering 
Valid Trade Certificate Section 13 or 26 (D) as a Diesel Mechanic 
At least 2 years Trackless mining experience 
Safety 
Inspecting PPE before use 
Ensure that all legal and safety requirements are adhered to in movement operations 
Obtain relevant safety and work permits prior to executing activities 
Isolation procedures to be followed 
Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports for area 
Ensure that the prescribed safety equipment is always worn 

Financial Control 
Participate in cost saving initiatives and adhere to financial procedures. 

Customer Relations 
Ensure that employees work in a safe environment 
Ensure effective two way communications with team members
