The Diet Tech will support the Food Service Director in managing daily Dietary Department operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivery of safe, high-quality nutritional services. This role combines administrative duties with nutrition support to maintain efficient operations and accurate resident meal service.


Job responsibilities & Functions:

+ Perform administrative tasks including data entry, recordkeeping, reporting, and general office support

+ Manage phone calls and emails that come from nursing and dieticians in regards to diet changes

+ Maintain resident diet orders, nutrition records, and meal service accuracy

+ Conduct meal rounds, assist with menu selections, and address resident concerns

+ Monitor food quality, tray line accuracy, and ensure proper meal delivery

+ Maintain systems such as resident databases and tray ticket programs
