**Job Description**
This role supports the food service operations within a hospital by preparing and serving meals, assembling patient trays, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. You will work across kitchen and cafeteria areas, assisting with cooking, dishwashing, tray passing, and general foodservice duties while following established procedures and safety standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare food for patients, the cafeteria, and special functions according to established recipes and procedures.
+ Assemble patient trays accurately and promptly, ensuring all items match the patient’s requests and prescribed therapeutic diet orders.
+ Serve cafeteria customers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
+ Handle cash accurately and operate the cash register in the cafeteria.
+ Perform dishwashing duties, including washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
