**SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer Executive Management, responsible to provide for the operational and financial management of the Graduate Medical Education Department and its accredited/non-accredited residency/fellowship training program. Requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies, educational administration and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) program applications.
