Position Overview

Summary You will serve as a DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESEARCH PROTECTION PROGRAM (PROGRAM MANAGER) in the Navy Human Research Protection Program (DON HRPP) of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY. Responsibilities You will be coordinating with federal agencies, academic institutions, industry partners, and international organizations on matters related to human subjects research and research protections. You will manage program resources, workforce development, performance metrics and continuous process improvement. You will ensure that DON institutions adhere to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, developing and disseminating clear, concise guidance to facilitate compliance and promote a culture of ethical research. You will develop innovative strategies to optimize resource utilization, enhance efficiency, and improve the effectiveness of human research protection programs.
