The Sony Pictures Entertainment Legal team is hiring a legal professional to join our corporate headquarters in Culver City, CA. This role will primarily support the Sony Pictures Consumer Products department reporting to the SVP, Business & Legal Affairs.


Responsibilities:

+ Draft, negotiate and process a high volume of merchandising licensing agreements (and related agreements, correspondence, etc.)

+ Track status of the agreements and all related matters.

+ Research and analyze legal issues (including rights analysis, content clearance, labor, etc.)

+ Management of antipiracy efforts (trademark protection, enforcement, C&Ds, etc.)

+ General problem-solving on a daily basis.


Qualifications:

+ Excellent drafting skills along with excellent judgment, prioritization and communication skills while interfacing with all levels of the company.
