**Job Description**

The Director will be a leader in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group tasked with supporting AXP growth and profitability through M&A transactions. Position presents opportunities to work in close consultation with the various AXP business units and functional teams.

**Responsibilities**

+ Work with business units to prioritize strategic objectives including development of strategic analyses to inform, support or enhance AXP’s inorganic growth strategy
+ Assist in leading deal teams to evaluate potential transactions and business cases from strategic, operational and financial perspectives.
+ Lead and oversee the development of key analyses (e.g., valuation, financial impact, etc.) with detailed financial models
