Director of Nursing (DON) - Full-Time Opportunity

Job Summary:
The Frostburg Rehab Center is seeking a talented and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our Nursing Service Department. As a key member of our leadership team, the DON will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities:
+ Lead daily operations for the nursing department and nursing services
+ Act as a liaison between the Administrator and nursing services administration
+ Develop, maintain, review, and implement written nursing policies and procedures that govern day-to-day functions
+ Make regular rounds to assure optimal quality of care is provided
+ Interview, select, hire, and on-board new nursing staff
+ Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff
