Position Description

Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine (WUSM) seeks an impactful scientist and leader to serve as the Founding Director of the Washington University Mass Spectrometry Research Center, with a faculty appointment in an appropriate department.The incoming Director will have the unique opportunity to design, realize, and lead the new Mass Spectrometry Research Center slated to open on the WUSM campus this year. The Center will provide service, collaboration, and training in mass spectrometry at the School of Medicine, which currently ranks fourth in the nation in NIH funding.

The Mass Spectrometry Center will provide 8,000 square feet of space for 20-24 new instruments, and associated spaces for sample preparation, computational analysis, and training.
