Disability Claims Administrator

Employment type: Permanent Full Time.

The CPP Team Disability Claims Administrator is primarily responsible for all aspects of the CPP/QPP process. It is expected that the holder will be a subject matter expert on CPP/QPP, interpreting contractual provisions to determine benefit entitlement, offsets, tax requirements, and managing calculations and inquiries using payment and management systems. The role includes preparing, submitting, and following up on all CPP applications in accordance with contractual and corporate policy.

• Perform simple and complex LTD benefit calculations (including inflation protection, cost of living increases, rehabilitation and partial period calculations) in accordance with contractual provisions.
