This is a physically demanding job that requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation as directed by the chef or cook.
• Operate dishwashing equipment to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment.
• Empty trash containers regularly.
• Stock shelves with clean dishes, utensils, and other supplies.
• Ensure that all surfaces are properly sanitized.
