_As Distribution System Operator, you will plan, coordinate, and supervise switching and tagging operations, issue clearances, monitor system loads, and support emergency restoration efforts for the electric distribution system. You will coordinate activities with CONVEX and other regions when system conditions cross jurisdictional lines and may serve as a Switching Director as assigned._
_Training Program_
_Candidates are hired as apprentices and undergo a 12–18-month training program, including written exams and board evaluations. Successful completion is required to remain in the position._
