Basic Qualifications

: The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch AND possesses one or more of the following: Training Specialization: Elementary Education with a major/minor in Special Education Related Teaching Experience: Demonstrated successful experience as a School Based Resource teacher A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff Additional Qualifications: Not required for this posting Other: Commitment to working as a member of the school-based team Willing to lead IEP and SBT meetings Willing to support the district's visions of inclusive education Use of personal vehicle required for travel to schools See District's outline of roles an...
