Overview
Works under the supervision of the Lead Dosimetrist , and under the general direction of the Radiation Oncologist and Medical physicist; Radiation Oncology Services. Shows proficiency with the treatment planning system and other related software programs. Pays special attention to dose constraints and tumor volume to achieve the best plan possible in accordance to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable). Performs dose calculations, is proficient in the Radiation Oncology EMR, and assists with simulations and setups as requested.
