The role will be responsible for managing inventory using a computerized system, as well as moving inventory physically within the facility. The primary objective will be to maintain accurate and adequate levels of stock in the correct locations to meet daily distribution demands while minimizing excess supply. At times the Warehouse Support Worker III will also be called upon to perform standard warehouse duties such as receiving, sorting, put‑away, picking and shipping of primarily food products. The position requires regular use of power equipment (forklift, power cart) along with some manual work, and the use of computer systems to help supply donated goods to member agencies who help the needy in our communities.
The incumbent may perform all, some, or a similar range of duties.
