What You'll Do Performing standard penetrometer testing operations including performing borings and geoprobes Operating Geoprobe unit for the collection of soil and Con Penetrometer (CPT) data Locating borings in the field and recording all required drilling data Performing drill rig and support truck maintenance Troubleshooting mechanical problems including those of an electrical or hydraulic nature Planning daily schedule to meet productivity goals Training and mentoring the driller helper(s) What We're Looking For High School diploma or GED preferred 0 – 2 years of experience Position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed Who We Are Founded in 1988, Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is a leader in geotechnical, construction materials, environmental, and facilities engineering.
