About The Role

Whitehaven Coal is seeking an experienced Shotfirer to lead and coordinate Drill and Blast activities at Maules Creek Mine. Working closely with the Drill and Blast Superintendent, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment and crews across all drilling and blasting activities.

We are seeking a safety-focused Shotfirer who leads by example, demonstrates visible leadership on site, and fosters a fair and supportive working environment.

This role operates on a 7/7 shift pattern and is based at Maules Creek Mine near Gunnedah, NSW.
