Position Overview

Driver
  • Transport residents from the nursing home for their routine medical appointments.
  • Co‑ordinate with the Manager in planning the route and time of transport.
  • Maintain cleanliness and working condition of the van.
  • Attend to any other delivery requirements or errands when needed.
  • Primary education or equivalent.
  • Able to speak and understand simple English.
  • Good organisational ability.
  • Class 3 Driving licence.
  • Defensive Driving.
  • CPR + AED certification.
Clinical Care
  • Assists the registered nurses in the delivery of nursing care to the residents in the Home.
  • Assists the physiotherapist in delivering therapeutic activities to the residents in the Home.
  • Helps to maintain a clean, safe and neat environment for the residents in the nursing home.
  • Accompanies residents to the hospital/polyclinic for follow-up appointments.
