Job Purpose
The Deputy Chief Environmental Officer is responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of environmental management systems at project and/or organizational level to ensure compliance with statutory environmental regulations, client requirements, and sustainability commitments, while minimizing environmental impacts.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in development and implementation of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for projects. Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, rules, and guidelines (MoEF&CC, SPCB, CPCB, EIA conditions, consent conditions, etc.).
