Position Overview

            Responsibilities  Supervise mechanical teams including technicians, fitters and contractors to ensure they perform tasks safely and efficiently. 
Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure that project schedules are met. 
Ensure proper documentation of work performed by the mechanical team. 
Oversee routine preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, valves and piping systems. 
Ensure timely repair of breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. 
Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of new mechanical equipment. 
Ensure proper calibration and alignment of machinery as per manufacturer guidelines. 
Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
