The Early Childhood Education Instructor is responsible for delivering in-class theory instruction, practical course work for the Early Childhood Diploma program.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments and assessments according to an approved curriculum and Indigenous community contextCurriculum delivery in an engaging and participatory manner, and with community development focusTeach students through lectures, open discussions, audio-video presentations as needed; prepare resources for classroom discussion when necessaryResearch information to ensure curriculum is currentIdentify the needs of individual students, and work to help each student develop his or her potentialMeet with students to discuss and provide feedback with regard to their workProvide students with various evaluation opportunities for success
